Products for publishers & organisations
lis.strations aims to give institutions and publishers that communicate psychological information and educational material to both professionals and the general public a visual identity that bridges psychological academics and practitioners through various creative outputs.

Why visual science communication?
Visual storytelling makes psychology accessible, transforming complex research into engaging, relatable content. For publishers and organisations focusing on psychology, visual communication bridges the gap between science and society, making research more approachable for those outside the field, while also resonating with professionals within the psychological community. Through impactful visuals, your organization can foster trust, simplify ideas, and inspire curiosity—whether in social media, presentations, or publications. By making psychology both approachable and enjoyable, you create a lasting connection and amplify your impact.

Psychology Visual
Through creative formats, we bring psychology to life in ways that captivate and inform. Visual science communication can take many forms: postcards, posters, and infographics that highlight key insights, career paths, or motivational messages; interactive guides and checklists that build self-efficacy for students and professionals alike; or even board games and cartoons that make complex concepts accessible and enjoyable. Each product bridges the gap between research and real-world understanding, engaging both psychology professionals and enthusiasts with content that’s both relatable and impactful.

Examples
of projects for psychology organisations

BDP | psychological postcards
In collaboration with the BDP (German Association of Psychologists), I developed a series of postcards. Some aimed at helping psychology students explore diverse career paths; others featured inspiring quotes from psychology students attending the BDP’s annual job orientation festival (be-in). These postcards were included in the goodie bags and sent to the psychology students who participated in the festival. I also designed two postcards illustrating the diverse social and methodological skills psychology students develop throughout their Bachelor and Master studies, to boost students' sense of self-efficacy.

lis.strations | psychoeducational deskcalendars
For my own business, I am creating a yearly psychoeducational calendar. In 2025, it provided food for thought each month based on the self-deterimation theory and my own doctoral thesis; in 2016, it featured animal metaphors visualising personality disorders.

DPV | Traumberuf Psychologie
For a new edition of the book "Traumberuf Psychologie" (dream job psychology) of the DPV (German psychology publisher), I created supporting visuals including an illustration of various psychological occupations, characters leading through the book, and visual summaries of each chapter
